A slice of history

Our history dates back to 1991, when Peter Bleyenberg started a trading company for used telescopic cranes in Broek in Waterland.

1998 brought expansion: a new branch in Edam, and the company won the exclusive import rights for Tadano telescopic cranes (formerly: Tadano Faun). In 2003 Waterland Trading opened a branch in Diest, Belgium.

Rapid growth led to yet another step in 2006. Waterland Trading bought a modern building on a site measuring 15,000 m2 in Purmerend.

In January 2018, a takeover of Waterland Trading by Tadano followed. Since then, Tadano Nederland BV and Tadano Belgium bvba have been operating as subsidiaries of Tadano Faun GmbH.
